Brewing Good Together
For 20 years, giving back to our communities has been part of what we do at Hummingbird. The Green Bean Fund is our way of giving back. Every time we buy green coffee beans, we set aside $1 for every $100 spent to support communities here in Aotearoa.

This year, our Vote for Good 2025 campaign asked you to help us decide where that support should go. Thousands of you cast your votes, putting our values into action.
Together, we've shared $200,000 between three organisations doing incredible work:
- Youthline – $74,000
The money will directly help run Youthline's 24/7 National Helpline, providing young people with someone to turn to in their darkest moments. Every dollar is vital to maintaining this critical service for rangatahi across Aotearoa to ensure no young person faces their struggles alone.
- Forest & Bird – $67,000
This donation means Forest & Bird can continue their vital mahi. They’ll be able to put more energy into grassroots habitat restoration, support legal challenges that protect vulnerable species and ecosystems, protect conservation land and run nature adventures that inspire the next generation of conservationists.
- Voices of Hope – $59,000
With your support, Voices of Hope can continue creating powerful storytelling campaigns that break down mental health stigma and remind people they’re not alone. This donation will also help bring community events to life and expand their reach, so even more New Zealanders can connect with messages of hope and strength.
Vote for Good is the latest chapter in Hummingbird's 20-year story of giving back. From our early community initiatives to the Green Bean Fund and this year's campaign, supporting others has never been a one-off gesture; it's part of who we are.
That continues with every bag of beans roasted, every cup brewed and every person who chooses Hummingbird. Together, we've made a real difference. Together, we'll keep it going.
